    What Are Workcrews?

Dedicated collaboration spaces for teams, pods, and functions

Workcrews are dedicated collaboration spaces for a team, pod, or function within your organisation. Think of each Workcrew as a self-contained home for a specific group — containing everything that crew needs in one place, without the noise of the whole organisation.

    What's inside a Workcrew

    • Shared tasks and projects — visible and accessible to everyone in the crew
    • Workcrew documents — files and written content scoped to that crew
    • Workcrew chat — a dedicated conversation space, contextual and contained
    • Activity feed — a real-time log of everything happening in the crew
    • Decisions Log — a record of what was decided, when, by whom, and why

    Why Workcrews exist

Most teams are collaborative in theory and chaotic in practice. Messages live in Slack. Decisions get made in meetings and forgotten. New team members spend weeks getting up to speed. Workcrews solve this by keeping everything — conversations, tasks, decisions, documents — in one place, scoped to the people who actually need it.

    How to create a Workcrew

    1. Go to Workcrews in the left sidebar
    2. Click "New Workcrew"
    3. Give it a name and description
    4. Add members
    5. Start adding tasks, documents, and projects

    Scale Up plan note

The Scale Up plan includes full access to all Workcrews — every specialist crew space you need, with new Workcrews continuously added as Crewie grows. The Startup plan includes Workcrews for your founding team.
